End-User Licence Agreement

1. Licence granted

On purchase (or for the free companion, on download), you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence to install and use the companion on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use. You own the licence, not the underlying software or artwork.

2. Ownership

The app, engine, companion artwork, animations, and audio are owned by us and our licensors and protected by copyright. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

3. Restrictions

• No redistribution, resale, sublicensing, renting, or public display of the companions.
• No reverse-engineering, decompiling, or extracting assets, except where the law forbids this restriction.
• No removing, altering, or forging the package signature or the per-account licence token.
• No use of the companions to build a competing companion catalogue.

4. Offline and no DRM

Companions run entirely on your device and continue to work offline. Packages are cryptographically signed for integrity and carry a per-account watermark for anti-piracy tracing, but there is no phone-home licence check that can disable a companion you have already installed.

5. Termination

This licence ends if you materially breach it (for example, by redistributing a companion). On termination you must stop using and delete the affected companions. Deleting your account also ends access to purchased companions.

6. Warranty and liability

The companions are provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and limit liability as set out in the Terms of Service.
