Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the PebbletsIO website, app, and companions (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
PebbletsIO is a desktop-companion app for macOS (Windows to follow). A free companion is included; additional companions are available as one-time purchases. There is no subscription, no recurring fee, and no in-app currency.
2. Purchases and merchant of record
Purchases are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record and reseller. Paddle handles payment, billing, and applicable taxes; your purchase is subject to Paddle’s buyer terms in addition to these Terms. A purchase grants you a personal licence to the companion under our End-User Licence Agreement.
3. Accounts
You can browse and buy without an account. An account (email or Google sign-in) exists so your purchases can be restored on another machine. You are responsible for keeping access to your email or Google account. Entitlements are tied to your account; deleting your account removes your access to purchased companions (see the Privacy Policy).
4. Acceptable use
Companion packages are signed and licensed to you. You may not redistribute, resell, decompile, or tamper with them, or attempt to remove or alter the per-account licence token embedded with each download.
5. Updates
We may ship updates to the app and companions, including staged rollouts. Some updates may be required for continued operation on newer operating systems.
6. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected companion. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
